Happy New year everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve done a post, so thought it was time to sit down and get to writing!

With the holidays that just passed, it’s been a bit chaotic (but amazing), and my wife and I haven’t really had much down time since moving here. I already got my first few projects here in town, and am reaching out to some interior design companies to create some local partnerships.

I am excited to see what this year brings; I know that this will be a very profitable year, and my projects will keep getting bigger and bigger.

It will be one year in March that I started my own business. I think that Skipper’s Woodworks has done pretty well, especially given the fact that I never had to return to the corporate world as a crutch.

Don’t get me wrong, there were some times that money got tight, and stress levels were through the roof. However, since I’m a builder, I just modified and built my psychological roof a little higher, so I had a bit more breathing room ;).

Thank you to everyone who has been supportive of my business, and has spread the word–I could not be more thankful for the business that has come my way, and couldn’t have done all that I’ve done this past year, without everyone’s continued support.

Here’s to a great 2017!

Cheers,

Ray
